Why do you need this?

Because having speaker tiers with shortcuts will save you a lot of time during transcription.

Start transcribing (New Lines)

1. Hit ‘enter’ to start a new line.
2. Generate a new speaker ID:
   1. Click on “Tiers”, then click on the speaker.
3. Use the speaker’s shortcut: cmd+number/ctrl+number

♣ Speaker change should always occasion a new line. ♣
♣♣ Pauses between speakers should always have their own line. ♣♣
